Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation's Urban Fishing - Oklahoma City

Through a program created by the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation, urban fishing is now possible within a metro area. This close to home program, around 30 areas including city parks and even neighborhood ponds will be stocked with fish. From hybrid sunfish, channel catfish and at two locations trout, the wildlife department stocks fish at 6 to 8 inches. Because more opportunities will be possible, the next generation of anglers is going to be more urban!
