Thunder Valley Zoo is a not for profit organization. They rescue and specialize in draft horses, and donkeys that were at risk of shipment to slaughter. They also rescue many types of livestock like llamas, alpacas, goats, pigs, cows, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, ducks, birds and ferrets. They are a public charity, and depend on donations and grants to fund our life saving work. Thunder Valley strives to educate the public on animal care and possible expenses that a person can or could incur when caring for a pet during our petting zoo tours.
