The latest exhibit at the Fred Jones, Jr. Museum of Art is one that takes you back in time. “Picturing Indian Territory, 1819-1907” explores Oklahoma history through art and runs through Friday, December 30th. The exhibit reveals what outsiders to Oklahoma either witnessed in person, heard about through local stories, or decided was interesting or important enough to report back to the rest of the nation during the transition from Indian Territory to Oklahoma Territory to Oklahoma statehood.
